About this site
How to use the Travel FX briefs site
This site is the writer-ready home of all 65 content briefs in our 90-day plan. One page per article, with everything a writer needs to draft.
What's on each brief page
- Search intent — who's searching this query and what they want
- Keywords — primary and secondary
- H2 outline — the article spine, section by section, with notes
- Key points — facts, statistics and unique angles that must appear
- Live-data injection points — where the tech team needs to wire dynamic data from the main site
- Internal link targets — commercial pages and sibling content to link, with anchor text
- External sources — reputable sources to cite
- SEO metadata — meta title and description
- Hero direction — what the lead image should be
- Notes and risks — anything the writer needs to be careful of
- CTA — end-of-post call to action
The live-data injection convention
Every callout marked LIVE DATA INJECTION in magenta is for the tech team, not the writer. Each describes where dynamic data from the main Travel FX site needs to be injected into the WordPress post.
The writer leaves a placeholder note in the draft (e.g. [LIVE RATE WIDGET HERE]) and the tech team replaces it with the appropriate shortcode, widget, or block before publishing.
How to work the plan
- Open the calendar (homepage). Find your assigned week and day.
- Click the cell to open that brief.
- Draft the article from the H2 outline, using the key points and external sources.
- Mark live-data injection placeholders for the tech team.
- Add internal links per the brief's guidance.
- Update the status in
travelfx-content-plan-90day.xlsxas you progress (Not started → In draft → In edit → Scheduled → Published).
Markdown version
Each brief is also available as a brief.md file in the same folder. Use this if you prefer drafting in a markdown editor or want to paste the brief into an LLM as context.
